Becoming a Member
Becoming a paddle member of AUSWR is easy. All you need to do is fill out the contact form below, provide us with some details about yourself, your watercrafts and equipment and one of our team will be in touch to explain the benefits of membership and our products and service offerings.
Watercraft and Equipment that Can Be Registered
We provide Halo Tags for a wide range of watercraft and equipment and are happy to provide you with tags with any other types of watercraft and equipment that may not be listed here. Some of our more common types of watercraft that we register include:
PADDLE Membership Packages and Inclusions
General Membership
($4 per annum there after)
General Membership is an annual membership that gives you access to our full range of services, support and product offerings. General Membership includes as standard the initial 12 months of being a registered AUSTWR community member as well as including 1 AustWR Tag for a single watercraft or piece of equipment. Additional tags can be ordered and added to your membership profile at a cost of $8 per tag. There is no additional annual cost for registering multiple watercrafts or pieces of equipment to your General Membership Profile.
Limited Membership
Our Limited Memberships are designed for craft that already have either a registered Sail Race Number or Hull Identification Number. Whilst these crafts already have access to some of the benefits of tagged identification, becoming a member with AUSTWR will further increase your safety and the speed at which your craft can be identified and returned to you in the event that you become separated.
Replacement Tags
If you lose your AustWR Tag or it becomes damaged, you can order a new tag for $8 either with a new identification number or the same identification number that you had been assigned previously. Additional tags can also be purchased for each watercraft or piece of equipment that you would like to include in your membership profile.
Lifetime Membership
With a once-off payment, this membership level covers you for life.
OC1 & OC2 Race Membership
OC1 & OC2 race memberships which include an AustWR I.D. Tag and a pair of race stickers with your new race number printed on them.
OC3/4 & OC6 Race Membership
OC3, OC4 and OC6 race memberships which include a pair of oversize race stickers with your new race number printed on them.
