Welcome to the Australian Watercraft Registry

We are an innovative membership organisation for water activity enthusiasts that has designed a unique registration system and database to help easily identify recreational watercrafts that have become separated from their owners, promote safety within our community and minimise the cost of unnecessary search and rescue.

About Us: getting you home safe

AUSTWR is a flagship membership organisation that is dedicated to serving our community by providing and simple and cost-effective way of registering your recreational watercrafts and equipment. Our simple tagging system along with our growing database of members means that we are able to provide information to relevant authorities in the event that you become separated from your watercrafts.

In the event that you become separated from your watercraft or equipment, our simple tagging system along with our searchable database means that we will be able to provide relevant contact details with the view to having the lost watercraft returned to its rightful owner.

AUSWR gives members the ability to notify us of any lost watercraft which will help minimise unnecessary search and rescue planning in the event that your watercraft is found unattended. The average cost of a search and rescue operation is $130,000. By proactively reporting your lost watercrafts and recording yourself as safe, we will be able to inform authorities to avoid any unnecessary search and rescue response.

Our team are available 24 Hours / 7 Days a Week for emergency situations and to respond to enquiries from emergency services personnel. Our dedication to the safety of our members is paramount as we continue to expand the coverage of our membership community.
